Peace of Christ to you! I hope that all of your are healthy and safe. Bellow is an update on the 2020 Pilgrimage to Mexico:

As you probably know, much has to be in place long before a pilgrimage can take place. Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic that has left us with so many uncertainties, we are no longer able to properly prepare for our Fall pilgrimage. And so it is with quite a bit of sadness that we have come to the decision to cancel the October 2020 Pilgrimage to Mexico and the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
We know that when one door is closed, another can be opened, that our God is "a God of surprises", and that in Christ, death no longer has the final say. So with faith, we already know that the LORD, Who has allowed this door to be closed, still has great things prepared for us. St. Peter tells us that: "The God of all grace who called [us] to his eternal glory through Christ [Jesus] will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish [us] after [we] have suffered a little." In Christ, the cross is always followed by the resurrection!
We certainly hope that this pilgrimage can be rescheduled. And we will notify everyone of updates. As always, it is in the LORD's hands.
Please share this with all who need to know. And thank you for all that you do to build up the Kingdom of God. Each of you in your own way, putting your gifts at the service of others, has been a witness to me. Thank you!
Know of my daily prayers for each of you!
In Jesus,
fr. John Paul
