Come and join your fellow parishioners at St. John the Evangelist's Catholic Church for the 16th Annual Parish Picnic. The picnic will be held rain or shine.

Come and make new friends, renew acquaintances, and enjoy delicious picnic fare and a fun time for adults and kids with games and some salsa dancing!

St. John's will provide the buns, hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments, and drinks (which is why we need RSVPs by September 3rd - so that we know how much to purchase). We would love for you to share your specialty picnic fare with your fellow parishioners!

Please email sjphilly.picnic@gmail.com if you wish to donate or to volunteer. We have volunteer tasks for prior to the picnic as well as on the day of the picnic.

Whether or not you are able to attend, please consider contributing side dishes (salads, chips and dips, salsa of course, etc.) and sweets (cakes, pies, and other treats) - or making a financial donation.

Please also consider volunteering with pre-picnic, setup, cleanup, and during-the-picnic tasks (welcoming and security, ushering, food and beverage management, assisting seniors and the mobility-challenged, hosting the games, perhaps even leading the salsa dancing!). We also need a volunteer with the appropriate clearances to facilitate activities for children.
