I’m beginning my column with another Lenten reflection.
Lent is a time to consider the invitation of the Lord to “come back to me with all your heart”.
Have you made any Lenten resolutions? I have a few questions for all of us to consider/reflect upon as we journey through this sacred time of the year.
How is your Lenten journey going? Have you been following through with the resolutions you made on Ash Wednesday? Are you taking advantage of this grace-filled time to deepen your relationship with the Lord? Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Where do you want to find yourself spiritually when we gather together to celebrate Easter?
This is a season so rich in what it offers us spiritually: it is a time to listen to the Lord speaking to our hearts, a time to learn how to love Jesus more deeply and to pray that more people come to believe in Him; it is that “graced time” drawing us closer to the Lord and freeing us from the sins that so easily cling to us. If we want it to be, Lent can be a time of real transformation for you and me, it is a time to respond to the Lord to “Come Back toMe With All Your Heart.”
